Poem Number 8881
After the Reading of the Names
~~~~
How many will stand guilty
On the soft poetry ground , beside the hardwood gates.
Complacency the greatest offence
Words used in vain or vainly used, meaningless
Scattered just for selfs' attention, no greater cause or care
But when the words are used to curb an opportunistic serpent's gain,
His unconcern jumps to attention , but by then, his efforts, are rendered, vain.
Cleverness, that he tried call complacency,.. but what wouldn't he give bad name ?
...now who is he?
he is we...and we all stand quilty, stripped, exposed
-- some like needing no 'remedy' when 'sorrow's the sin', well..., an aburr'sed point.
My points can make a star as well as yours, judge not
The star of points is that judging is not men's right, for God holds all appeals in sight.
Also He decides for the very end, there will be two sets.. we and them.
Why must poetry, which has no denomination, be turned into your sermon. I prefer to choose my own Ministry to sit under, certainly one far less judgemental.
Seems the 'sermon' has been returned, from the hands that judgmentally Minister to do harm.
Time to quiet the alarm, and end this poem.
Here's the joke. As far as I'm concerned, this poem is doneday.
Commentary:
Sorry, I started to post a poem by Steve Mason from his work "Johnny's Song" and realized it was still under copyright. JFC
They're comming to take them away Ha-Ha, Hee-Hee, to the funny farm where all is well......................
-------
The tragedy is that more logic in the Ha Hee than you and most here have displayed themselves unfailingly to be.
-------
or unfailingly unable to conceive.
