This is not my life by far and my children are very happy with families of their own.To write poetry, you have to imagine how it is in this world for some people. Nice to hear it is fiction. Of course not all poetry is based in fact or is biogfraphical. Somehow though it can still tell a truth, or at least what the writer might think is the truth just because they imagine it to be so. Empathy is a beautiful thing, all the same, isn't it? Louise-no problem. It's just that I see so many young couples that aren't willing to work things out or try. Divorce is always the answer. Well, after 46 yr.s of marriage, I know ot takes work and understanding. Yes, you are right, the kids bear the brunt, which is sad. BTW welcome to this site.W.H. :))
