Poem Number 7611
Integers and in between
in the absence of space and time
Zero twirls a figure eight
But falls over and become infinity
and stands up to become eight
eight and eight makes twenty one
twenty one turned around makes twelve
Commentary:
Great tit and Cuckoo, forever counts to two
Ring dove strikes three, Wood pigeon reaches five
Yellowhammer hits seven, Chaffinch stops at eleven
One breaks the bars, of those clear cut primes
cascading equations, on the blackboard of time
nightingale solving the roots rhyme

allan :: Your poem is beyond me. Is this beyond you? :
Frank Jordan, former San Francisco mayor, allowed himself to be photographed in public showering with a reporter.
Question: What was the real reason Frank Jordan did not get re-elected mayor?
Answer: He was all washed up!
Note: This item belongs here as much as your unfathomable poem--unless you can fathom this. (all in fun; love your intelligible poetry!) :: George

so, Arlie & George - maybe hard because it's simple -- Sound impressions of a morning jogging tour, over the fields and down into the bog area - different species of birds singing, different kinds of songs, different complexities, from simple counting : 1-2, to more "advanced number theoretic concepts", interesting enough, most songs hitting prime numbers (you know : 2-3-5-7-11, don't ask me why). One species breaking all bars of musical rules of orthogonality and orthodoxy, ahhhh the nightingale !! Saved my day. Musical poetry on a day of prose. Very simple. - allan
