Poem Number 7579
it hits me,
bounces off and crawls up,
and slings an arm around,
and mumbles some drunken nostalgia,
it bores me,
falls off and slithers away,
and my wallet is losing weight,
on this night of fiends who used to be friends.

Commentary:
Intriguing. Is there one (or more) story grafted together here? -- Moe

It's kind of a collaboration playing on the same theme. Two different stories stripped down to their essential points and translated into a poem.Or it could be a poem about the time C.S. got smashed at a bar and knowing I had money but nothing to spend it on (being underage)kept hitting me up for cash so he could another Killians red.But don't tell C.S. that or he will come all the way from north carolina to ohio just to show me his new brass knuckles that he got for his birthday.jcr
