Like thunderbolts,coming down just to announce myself and disappear like so much flash,
on lonely nights, I dance with a thought that surpasses all the frustrating temptations of the day
but the moment I make the night and cry into her soul...

In the whirl of choices taken, I am trying to see the face I love,
when it stays, it is beyond my lowest point,
this is pain, this is my due
my nights offer no comfort,
my days, only comforting pain,

being a man of strange memory,
I hear names like shards tearing my flesh,
I give under their tender destruction,
how many will it take to finish me?
so many pleasing sounds to destroy the mind,
if I survive , I will kiss the nameless tomorrow,
but what of other pleasures?
should I hush and be romantic right to my grave?
the morning will answer.

That first part if really cool "But the moment I make the night and cry into her soul.." That is really cool. The second stanza is just as powerful. Were each of these written by various authors? T.O

The line was supposed to read "but the moment I make the night my lady and cry into her soul" but I forgot to slip that in.The piece was conceived by two authors-Christopher Sonnenkinder and myself(j.c.ramsey).It was a concept that C.S. came up with and I played with.I don't think I've ever enjoyed such a spontaneous creation before.Thanks once again C.S. for keeping from getting me stuck in the development.And thanks T.O. for the praise.It feels good at a time when I'm not really sure if writing is worth it.

I know all about spontaneous creation. I myself have been here for months pairing with various authors and coming up with some crazy but very creative poems. You and Chris seem to make a pretty good team keep it up. T.O
