Poem Number 4520
festival of kites
souls dancing on the gusts of life
coloured ribbons of language trailing, flapping in the void
- kids running, jerking up their bamboo frames
- high up a rice paper moon sailing, shining smilingly
- a butterfly attracted, painting a transparent rainbow
- a five fold construction dancing in beautiful synchronous flight
- a heart with silken red inked strips leaking
- a dragonfly hovering, it's eyes on fire
- the intermittent diabolic dive of a black ace of spades
- and several box kites defying gravity
-angels circling about the Nativity
