Poem Number 2931
Mozart plays,I lean back in my faded rocker
closed eyes.my mind goes where it wants
I visit a different realm of language
speaking to me it lifts me on a wave
of boundless dreams and imagination
spiriting me to rhythms of the universe
with moods of fire,wind,and chaos
interupted with peace,resolution
and God's harmonics of love
primal visions cloud the mind's eye
Beethoven s Moonlight Sonata plays
slowly, softly Im drifting on waves
each note touching a new emotion
feelings well up.. drift away to
return lifting and floating higher
my soul peacefully expanding, open
to the heavens and the music within
I am an angel, wings spread to
hold the universe in tender love
with sweet emotion and underlying
messages of peaceful calm renewal
I am a ballerina on tiptoes of
gentle, swaying movements swirling
in timelessness space..a feather
on the breezes of eternity
tiny notes of hope hover above
and fall cascading into deep wells
pools of flowing human sadness
melodies and rhythms entwine..
and sink to bottomless time
eternal infinite..entity
