I like the poignancy -- the subdued emotion--you say a lot with just a few words. Your title suggests it the loss of a loved one, but it could also be the start of a new life/job--a new start, a new beginning with someone...not alone. I like that. Very well done. JFC

Sometimes I come here and disparage and then there are times when I come here to read I find something wonderful like this little poem that stays here on the bottom. It doesn’t take many words. It takes just the right ones. Please know dear poet that you touch my heart.
