Poem Number 23276
Bathed in light
The morning sun
Plunged in dark
And over run
Radiance gone
A void remains
Rain taps against
The window panes
Rambling on
To pass the time
Sound emerges
From my window chime
The birds awake
Their song is played
The ghostly moon
Begins to fade
A stir is made
Outside my room
The dust removed
From an earthly tomb
No sleep was had
I cannot breathe
A few more hours
They all will leave
I'll still be here
Won't make a peep
Cause all I want
Is to get some sleep
To awaken again
To feel real
To continue on
Or just to feel.......
