Our Book

My ears have never deceived me when they heard you sing
in love, you see, sounds of your beauty are everywhere,
alas, they do not fade or stop, they morph into everything,
which compels me to write these words I want to share.
.
I want to compose with pure emotion sentences that have been empty,
whisper in your ears all those vowels I will write in our prologue
modulate arpeggios that sprout out of your laughter, eager to vibrate,
write without words of regret and at the end a serene epilogue.
.
I need to shout to the world that I can almost reach the heavens
while I feel a myriad of beautiful cherubims sing from above
bursting into my room humming, dissipating the clouds of doubt
to make life a melody and between the two of us write about love.

In the colors of flowers and landscapes that we saw in our travels
I will draw on our book thousands of caresses imagined but missing,
and as I narrate the wonderful spices of places you have not visited
I want to taste my lips in those places I once left without kissing.
.
I want the ink from my pen to flow and become a river of pleasure
create, murmur, shout, all that I want to tell you before the end
bring you mountains, valleys, plains and torrents of passion,
all which are my simple gift to my partner, lover and best friend.
