Poem Number 23227
I wish they cremated all of you
that aura of fear that lives in my throat
ready to rise up and suffocate me at any moment
and the memories of so many wasted years
I wish that your drivers license did not have the same address as mine
a grim reminder of how we were forever linked
You are a kaleidescope of bruises
twisting and twirling in my mind
Forever gone
but still a nagging memory
of years of pain
