Poem Number 23143
Are the hills alive?
The hills grow with time
Pushed up by tectonic plates
Meantime it comes alive with
With flowers, birds and bees
As thousands of generations of us
Are born, grow old and die away
Then those hills wither in the weather
As thousands more human generations
Nourish, flourish then perish
On these same hills destined to vanish

Thank you Chandler. Before pirating your title, I was wondering what you had in mind. Claude
