Poem Number 23054
strike delay
---jerry

Commentary:
where is the enemy today?
who is the enemy today?
what is the enemy today?
-
today.
today.
oh oh oh,
today is the enemy,
all brightly feathered, shining,
yellow, blue, red and
blood filled.
today is the enemy.

Again, you've said a lot with just a few words--another good one! I think it would be even better if you left out the "oh oh oh" line... ??? What do you think? JFC

thanks for kind words, JFC, chandler, poet great whose symbol i cannot create, and raul (where you been?). JFC, i did try to omit that line, but to me it makes for a little sarcasm...plus it adds rhythm, though offbeat.

*smile* Always remember: you are the final editor of your work!! You are the only one who knows what you are trying to say--so, if a comment or a suggestion works--for you--keep it--if not, ignore it!! and, no hard feelings!! *grin*
-------
in and out, up and down, i still drop in from time to time and it's so good to see the familiar names.
