Aurora Dances
Commentary:
For you, Ben!!!
Aurora Dances
When skies are dark and ions rise
from solar depths of space not seen,
Aurora dances tall across the sky.
In festal colors, her skirts twist and fly,
flaunting petticoats of blue and green,
when skies are dark and ions rise.
From horizon low to astral high,
as streaming plasma rules the scene,
Aurora dances tall across the sky.
And ethers crackle as they cry
from icy winter's frigid screen
when skies are dark and ions rise.
The background stars are gently wry,
as through ionic veils they softly gleam;
Aurora dances tall across the sky.
On cloudless nights look up on high,
and you may see a tenuous sheen
when skies are dark and ions rise,
Aurora dances tall across the sky
