So tired now, with eyelids slamming closed like gates,
grates come sliding down windows, as everything closes for the evening,
except one old man in piss stained pants
dreaming cardboard sheep
he's younger than he looks
but older than his tears
The building behind him
weeds growing out of foundation cracks
