movement

when she moves, i can see it
and it's a little sci-fi.
i just keep staring at the bowl of my stomach
waiting for her to move
bump bump babump

when she does i'm a little scared
but i keep watch.
i stare at my own skin
until i notice
my eyes unfocus.

watching this is better than meditating,
but shouldn't that bump be a noise
like a knock on the door
or clapping hands?
shouldn't there be an echo?
