Poem Number 22945
Where does the anger go?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My heart beats in rythms
I utter terrible words, I'd love to forget
Mixed up and emotional, the point I never get
To proud to back down from my foolish pride
Anger has a cross road, which path do I decide
My face red hot predictable
Caution has nothing to do with the words I speak
I should back down and forgive?
The heat of the moment tells me that would be weak
My mind in rage deflated, my feelings slowly leak
My eyes start to open
Slowly reason takes it's place
I am alive now in this moment, I start to feel disgrace
I was wrong in my mind from the start, my temper made it erase
Anger can change your perception, alter the feelings that we chase
In your mind, your spirit,, anger simply was replaced
