Poem Number 22908
Charlie Rock

Commentary:
a mellow smokiness,
like a wine was boisterous

The tempering process imparts sharpness
I am singing under a hammer, red hot and ready.
Lactic acid burns less than acquiesence,
drives the mind higher, the body faster.

-------
I miss her like breathing.
Roiling water in a pot,
nothing to do but scald
empty like the sky over highways and wheatfields
I hurtle blindly forward,
towards self destruction, war and isolation.
-
-------
Raven haired beauty,
perched on god's telephone,
clutching a beer I don't
recognize
down in australia alone.

-------
A mellow smokiness-
like a wine was boisterous.
The tempering process imparts sharpness
I am singing under a hammer, red hot and ready.
Lactic acid burns less than acquiescence,
drives the mind higher, the body faster.
-------
I miss her like breathing.
Roiling water in a pot,
nothing to do but scald
empty like the sky over highways and wheat fields
I hurtle blindly forward,
towards self destruction, war and isolation.
