You arrive like a thief in the night
my world yields slowly to the fire
only escape threw early morning light
from material ruin to the blackest sky
I will not fold to your frantic words

The flame flickers, the smoke slowly rises
moving to the beat of a bass drum
The nights eyes stare down with glowing stars
evening looses it grip, is overtaken and raped
and before you realize, transforms into today
and before my eyes, becomes today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
