The cat is sleeping
next to a bowl full of food
Rover begs to eat

Commentary:
Interesting use of punctuation intensity -fuck off- may I ask what suggested this to you? Is it related to the content of the poem? I have thought, from time to time, of dragging the entrails from multi-purpose terminology that catalogs swindle and perversion, and then rhyming it. An example as you seem to be pointing out might be any love word.
