Aliens

Two kinds we are obsessed with:
those from south of our planet,
crossing Mexico's border,
at vast unwatched swaths of space,
into the Northern Giant.
Too busy to notice is
America, behind huge
radiotelescope dishes,
dying to hear from aliens
of outer space, no matter
whether they will mop US floors,
or wipe us out off our planet.
