Ode to Samuel Jackson

Commentary:
"i want that flame back amy, i want to be exploding when i talk to you because there is so much to say and nothing at the same time because it doesn't matter what we say as long as you are smiling somewhere with my smile in your mind
and i want to tell you things and have you know that they are true and for us to be able to plan a future and have the same goals even if they are different and i want to be part of you and fall asleep with you and not stop anything
so now we have to stop so that later we can restart and i will do things right and you will fall in love with me or something and i won't have to feel like i have been feeling lately ever again..."
i said that to her, in so many words, i suppose, because i have a tendency to be in love at all the wrong times with all the right people. it is naturally confusing to be something other than a rock, or a banana. those things never get dumped, and they never have to itch their own backs.

This is by far the most powerful and intense poem you've shared yet Kaleb. I really felt your heart break, your irritation, and pain. The last two sentences are really intriguing, very interesting take on things. I also liked how universal it was, I'm sure everyone has dealt with similar situations. I do hope things turn up for you, keep writing, like I said, it's good therapy.
~Your Cousin.

-------
i like 'it is naturally confusing...'. the whole thing is a pulsar of unpunctuated breathless love. well done.
