Poem Number 22437
friendship
is like an ointment, when you've been stung by 50 bees, wherever you rub it, you'll know it feels better, because it's a topical analgesic

Commentary:
A friendship is based on what you give,
Not what you recieve or how you live.
A friendship is true when you both agree
You can talk to one another openly.

It feels good to know there's someone out there
Who will listen to me, and let me know she cares.
I can cry on her shoulder, which means a lot
Or she can cry on mine, see the wet spot.

This special girl I'm talking about
Is not afraid to laugh or shout.
I give you the key to my heart this day
For it's in my prayers and dreams you'll stay.

When you're in danger, in need, or you doubt,
Just pick up the phone and let it all out.
For you my ears are open, my arms spread out,
You can talk to me friend, without a doubt.

I dedicate this poem to you my friend,
I'll always be here for you until the end.
I want to run around and shout your name
Because the love I feel for you
Will always be the same!

Charming, naturally rhymed poem, even though it is about a common topic. I am partial to good rhymed poetry, and this is one of them. Rymo
