Frozen Lemonade

I felt a drop
i thought it was rain
felt so cold
upon my brow
i stomped my feet
onto the concrete
i won't look up for now

I can feel the sun so hot
the air it is so breezy

i feel small hands
with ice cold finger tips
tilt up my face
strait up to space
the snow it touches my lips

a comb for my hair

and a place for my child to sleep
i know the sun
brings laughs brings fun
but winter comes too quick
i sit here and shiver
I can not deliver
what I don't have
what doesn't exist
