Poem Number 19720
untitled
Commentary:
For the people I love
These blind gods,
with noble faces,
whose heroes were never born.
-
To Disalle,
(my vampyric saviour)
And creatures of beauty,
immutable and infinitely
tragic.
-
The light these angels bring
are the spiders
scratching toward my feet.
