Poem Number 18939
Last Night
Commentary:
Last night, I tried, but could not sleep
It was the memory of those sweet kisses
Warm and humid like a summer night
That was the answers to my childhood wishes.
Felt emotions ranging from excitement to fright,
giggling nervously as I thought about you,
As I turned and turned, I turned on the light,
To write about love, the only thing that is true.

H- I tried to mimic your style of prose. I believe that I have improved over the last few months. Please comment

*Grin* Writing is the answer for many ills isn't it, wonder how many poems are born out of insomnia? But what better reason than love! Enjoyed! ~Linda
