Sitting In the Sun~

Sitting in the sun,
i smiled
seeing the the
silver flecks in your
eyes and the soft
strands of chocolate hair
tangled smoothly
around the innocence
of your face...
and you spoke,
saying much about
the beautiful day
and the irregularity
of such warm weather
this early in the year,
and i sat watching,
thinking how beautiful
it is for me when you walk...
and how when your lips
move, the sunlight cascades
down upon your cheekbones.
