waiting

it's been awhile
time has gone by
lonely as I never smile
until I'm by her side
I've been waiting for so long
tears in my eyes just from her love
wish it was near
sweet songs she sings to me
late at night I count the stars
still wonder which one's ours
rain drops cloud my window
but she makes it go away
now clouds aren't gray
but I'm still waiting
to stay in this feeling forever
until its the end
