Poem Number 169
It was a rubber pretzel evening
And a lampshade on my head
Too much mescal to mention
Peyote buttons in my bed.
He howled and cried don't stop now
I'm closer than you think
I rose and offered a tender smile
Then passed out by the sink

I think this might have happened to be once . . . but I can't quite remember!
