Poem Number 16526
embryonic placement
----jeffh
Commentary:
embryonic placement placental merge
awareness is conceived in liquid universe
behind warm walls a world within
tiny fingers begin to flinch
liquid lips kiss silken surface
silent heart awaits its worth
sightless eyes find comfort divine
imprisoned within the vision of the virgin mind
elastic moment before resistance
unaware of cold steel existence
unprepared for first freezing breath
a child is born of his own first death
