Poem Number 16176
Untitled #6
Commentary:
I want to stitch these words,
my silken thread,
piercing your secret heart,
making you quiver
with just a touch
rolled off the tongue
into your listening ears.
-
I want to write poetry
in the dark,
your smoothest skin
papyrus for this cryptic tongue
used by lovers dead
and bearded bards
of forgotten songs.
-
I only want you
where virgins swoon,
paled under moon,
ghastly by firelight,
twisted shadows intwined in night
caught in the dark webs
left by negligent sun.
