Poem Number 15767
HATE YOU!
Commentary:
I feel a child
when you speak to me
with that
self-righteous
veneer of maturity
I want to hit you so bad
anger burns in me
I tread the line
(as they would say)
of love and hate
with careless abandon.
Damn you!
You spit truth
from your tongue
and guard
poison
in your heart
How DARE you
still be dear to me?
How dare you smile
and say
(oh so rationally)
that I don't understand?
I would throw
the world at you
just to stop
that smirk of yours
(God knows it makes me mad)
if I only
had the strength!
If I could only
Crush
that part of you
that makes you hateful
without scarring
the paper-thin
fragility of your love!
Why are you so strong
and so weak!?
Why must I love you
but hate you so much?

Very powerful emotions here. And you convey them well, this one is my favorite of yours so far(I won't say best since my taste is slightly of center).
