Silence

Commentary:
Silence
~
`
Silence chilling, holds me frozen in fear,
the quietness of silence roars its scream in my soul,
lifts my senses to somewhere beyond me.
Gripped in its throb, it beckons me to nothingness,
where not a sound moves.
Yet, I hear it like an alarm bell.
`
`
Silence in the night can be my peace in where I find rest.
`
`
In uncontrolled rage, silence burns with white flame,
before the anger dam bursts releasing torrents of
withheld emotions.
`
`
From atop a high hill the enormity of view, in its
expanse silence, can speak to me of the beauty.
`
`
When the soul of a beloved departs; the silence
left behind is loudly felt. The nothingness is present,
until memories slowly draw back their curtains
and speak in pictures.
`
`
I think silence is really a friend.
