The Journey

How long will the journey take?
It'll take seasons and seasons of change.
Will there be smiles or painful heartache?
Whatever you and the fates arrange.

What scenery on the way will unfold?
Meadows of sun and dark waters deep.
In swirling tides, how will I keep hold?
By love and strong faith, you will reap.
.
How will I know when the journey is o'er?
When the heart with memories sings.
Will I find rest at that final door?
Beautiful sleep, that Eternity brings.
