cinquain blues

Commentary:
Waiting
For her to call
Received her mail today
Almost read it a hundred times
Please call!
I tried!
I really did!
To explain my problem…
She simply turned her head away
Again
I’m lost
Words evade me
Tears constrain me within
This ruin of pretty women
Fails me
Oh! How
I need to weep
For I have full cause to…
But this heart just wont allow me
To cry

-------
I have full cause of weeping, but this heart
Shall break into a hundred thousand flaws
Or ere I’ll weep.
William Shakespeare Lear, in King Lear, act 2, sc. 2.

-------
psichore, great to hear from you again:
Old fridends, like vintage wine
grow more valued with time.
