Poem Number 15269
Breaking the Drug Habit
It's the hardest thing I've ever done
An easy habit to begin
It became one without my even noticing
Now that I am resigned to quitting
But it's hard
Coughin blood in the morning
My lungs are wasted
Breathing makes me want to hit it
Pass the pipe this way
My hands are shaking like
The day after an eathquake hits
Meth will make you fly
If it doesn't kill you first
Now it's here
Truth or Dare
Blue glass pipe
Fumbles in my hands
It's awkward like
an old lover throwing charms at me
What am I doing here?
Commentary:
Okay, if you wanna add to a poem, click "add a line", don't write the whole poem in the commentary, it ruins it for other people who might want to add on.
-------
People post their poems in the commentary section precisely for that reason, to stop people adding on. For the majority of people who post here, interaction consists of you telling them how much you like their (completed) poems, and them graciously reciprocating. Right folks?
-------
Actually, I post mine in commentary because I'm just too damn lazy to do it the other way.

-------
I started to post mine in commentary because it was easier, I was having too many hassles later with the other way, (now I think my own browser was half the cause of the hassles), but I put the title up top in "add a line" so anyone can still use it if they so wish, because I also have it on top of my poems in the commentary, so it doesn't worry me if they want to use the top one. ~ audee

Added my own tale of woe here.
