Poem Number 15251
Searing syllables
burn the retina,
A small white nova
of words
branded to the
gray matter through
closed lids.
*
Icey winds
gust from your lips,
turning lobes
pink with chill
freezing thoughts
in mid-synapse
breaking in
my mind.
*
No warmth
resides in sparkling
air that
seperates us,
a mere few inches
of matter floating
in miniature orbit,
seperating you
from me
effectively
as a galaxy of stars.
*
And yet, you set
my cortex crackling,
exceeding limits of light.
i am awash in you,
deluged the interstitials,
and swizzled,
the lunatic limbic
cocktails,
risen like springtime sap,
to wire you
hard, in the matrix.

I love the symbology and energy of this... It's really touching. *Angel

Your poem is interesting (not a bad thing), I like how it alters a lot.
I was wondering if you could help me figure out how to put one of my poems on this page? Thank you,
Twyla*
