Objects

People dehumanize people with words,
using words to bludgeon souls
until they bleed inside,
dripping, not with red body blood,
but, with fragile soul blood
that destroys the spirit.

"Kike," and "Frog," "Kraut," and "Gook("
"Cunt," and "Prick," and, "Limey," too,
"Chauvinistic Pig," and "Dirty Slut,"
"Nigger," and "Injun," "Honky," and "Beaner,"
are words to take away our worth,
reduce people to things,
objects that can be hit
and gouged, torn and raped with impunity;
-
for objects cannot feel.
-
"Kike, and "cunt," "gook," and "pig,"
are not people. People are Joe and Sue,
Molly and Bill, George and Mary.
Objects are things:
"Nigger," and "kraut," "frog," and "prick."

So, break their heads, tear their bodies,
brutalizxe their souls, they are only objects,
and objects cannot feel.

Oh, God, my God, Oh, Christ who died for man,
is this the why of that awesome plan,
that people make of people objects,
and objects cannot feel?
