The Summer the Circus Came To Town

Commentary:
Sometimes I think of you and laughter just bubbles to the surface
So amusing was our time together in my mind it takes on all the trappings
of a three ring circus.
There I was everyones favorite clown expertly preforming center ring
with ease
Then you came flying by, that daring young man on the flying trapeze.
Breathlessly you watched as I with an occasional slip
Walked a tightrope emotion without benefit of net
Then you and summer and the circus left town leaving me amazed
at how bold I had been
Wondering how brave can I get?
Although I question my judgement at risks taken for moments
that bore no sense of logic or purpose
I find I feel no need for logic whenever I think or you and
Laughter
just
bubbles
to
the
surface.
