Solitude
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A sand hill faces the sea
scoured daily by the briny wind
which leaves no mark of life, no debris.
I am like that lonely hill
swept bare of passion, love, or hope.
Waiting, waiting, alone and still.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
