Poem Number 13076
I don't know how to touch a star
---Steve
and don't know how to fly
---Steve
can't reach for things that are too far
---Steve
or hope for things too high
---Steve
~
---Anonymous
I cannot mend a shattered heart
---(though I wish I could)
for my hands are much too weak.
---Anonymous
Though we are so far apart
---and the hurt is so deep.....
You are still the star I seek.
---keep shining....
~
---Anonymous
A Singing Siren, song of starshine
---Steve
beckons forth a fragile hand
---Steve
and lured, lingers on that line
---Steve
longing fingers, starlit land.
---Steve
Sparkle dust from meteors
---and memory of your shining eyes
I collect throughout the night.
---Anonymous
This is what I keep of yours,
---loving heart, glorious words,
Held to heart, treasured sight.
---always.....
~
---Anonymous
Oh, to be a shooting star!
---I'm not running
and light the night up, with it's burning
---Steve
and join a celestial dance afar
---Or near :)
like son's dawn or world turning.
---:)

Maybe I can't touch a star
---but I'll never give up trying!
And wings, I'll never own
---but my heart has taken flight!
Hope glitters where you are
---(forever friend)
You shall never be alone.
---I'm still here...., sorry for the crappy ryhme. impromptu for you.
~
---Steve
On you, bright star, I'll make a wish
---Steve
and thank you for this chance
---Steve
to blow to you a goodnight kiss
---*hugs*
and thank you for this dance
---*tuck tuck* and sweetest dreams :)
