Poem Number 13020
We shall meet
---'a'
Commentary:
At the 'puter I sit by the hour
Can I send you just one flower
to say "hello" and show I care
even though you are not there,
When we coincide at the same time
connect to the net and be online
we chat about family and friends
Time just fly's our chat time ends
it's off to work or back to chores
Although the ocean separates our shores
you seem not far but nearby
our friendship has grown ---will we ever say goodbye?
Maybe on the otherside of life's thread we shall meet
we'll know each other when with smile and warm hug we'll greet
We will all be different and yet still be as one
Sweet harmony, no headaches, it should be more fun
You'll no longer have cancer and we wont grow old
There will be love, but purer than here
If you think here is wonderful, it's even richer love there,
Well dear friend I love you as my brother,
if we get our life's account right,--for eternity we'll be with one another.
