Poem Number 13008
Speak softly to me words you would entrust
into my hearts quiet keeping
secrets long since buried, dreams that have lay sleeping
With understanding I will recieve any thoughts you wish to share
I shall nourish your hopes with love, shelter your fears with care
With mutual trust, sensitivity and creativity, I see no haven for despair.
Commentary:

This touches my heart. I would like to use this for a class, may I make copies? mg

I added the line: "With mutual trust, sensitivity and creativity, I see no
haven for despair. This poem is well crafted as it reaches us on an emotional
and personal level. It underscores just how important life and social
functioning are to being human beings. Without these characteristics, love,
romance, and many other feelings wouldn't be worthy of mention or meaning.
Sincerely,
David Tillinger

I am flattered that you would want to use this for class. Hope to include
the lines I authored in a book someday. I already have a title "Any
Womans Journey." smh smarie57@yahoo.com.

Speak softly to me words you would entrust
into my hearts quiet keeping
Secrets long scince buried
dreams that have lay sleeping
With understanding I will recieve
any thoughts you wish to share
I shall nourish your hopes with love
shelter your fears with care
Within my hearts safe haven
this sacred trust will form the bond
That ties our souls together
today, tomorrow, forever and beyond.

Was inspired by David Tillinger to create and ending of my own
hope you like it. Was thinking I wish I had said this at my wedding.
