Poem Number 12030
Critics and hypocrites abound

Commentary:
Without talent and a sharp tongue
Sermonizing about what they call truth
Preaching their dogma in their song
Talent has always been a stranger to some
Who have elected to dismiss those that do,
Speaking to those vulnerable to realize
That their freedom is being threatened too.
Why is it so hard to accept beauty?
It seems that so many are adamant not to see
If birds can sing their sweet harmonies into the heavens
In our road towards happiness, so must we.
So if your pen is filled with venom for the soul
If your anger and envy could cause somebody’s muse mischief
Try to let go of all your worldly controls
Until you find the joy that you seem to miss
