it is a big world
busting with billions of people
so many tribes, so many religions
so many different standards
we must'nt run from our differences
nor engage them with fists
must'nt be so smug that ours is right and theres is wrong
how miserable to think the fat guy on sunday knows it all
there are lessons to be learned from opening up our minds
there are friends and lovers who dont agree with us
there are husbands and wives who we lose if we close ourselves away
from change growth and evolution
only through pain does freedom come
only through acceptance is growth possible
if your god is one of true love and freedom, let his voice ring
if his demands mutate the human spirit into binding itself up
open up your heart and head and find the real positive animal within you
be your own guide, unless you are happy lost inside
in that case dont force your chains so defeating and insane on others
your god is incapable of saving those who believe in another
there are many gods, why is yours the best ?
when billions have been called by a different god to worship
and they are healthy happy peaceful and good
understand that your calling is yours
and if because of that you arent happy with others who do not feel the same
how can you be so sure that your god is real
when he doesnt help you see that acceptance is next to godliness
and a closed mind is a place where only ill-will grows
we will die on our feet before we live on our knees for a hateful god
