Poem Number 11100
world falls
exhale a lamp light direction
breathe in a year long kiss
under all that seems like evening
photograph the wind
stand below the red clouds
forget those boys
laugh yourself into faded glory
thank your friends who are better than you
thinking of something
fall asleep against the song
never remembering the insults
falling down from the tops of buildings
it all seems so small inside the dreamtime
Commentary:
It evokes sunset and disappointment turning to peaceful rest. Fine images sliding one down into another and drawing toward thoughtful silence. ~Van

Thank you Van for your nice comment and thank you anonymous and ramsey for helping me out with writing it. I hope no one will mind if I change it some.

world falls
exhaled lamp light direction
and breathe in his year long kiss
reliving each eternity
through individual setting suns
then
under all that seems like evening
drag those red clouds across my face
revel in my solitude
remove these heavy clothes
until there is nothing but pale skin
forgetting those boys
laughing back the faded glory
thinking of something
there is a man
falling asleep against the song
in a black and white dream
he is die cast chromed strength
the world under him
seems so small inside the dreamtime

o so absoulutely reminiscent of a poetic mist i sometimes see somewhere within myself but can never quite capture. one of my favorite voices within. i guess there are similar places we all visit that dwell only within us.......dt
