Poem Number 10866
There was a little carpenter boy
a humble lively love of the tribe
cute,wise and innocent lad
prince born in a cattle shed
lived on and loved meager bread
lost no wisdom dad had taught
and he was a little carpenter boy
had a mother who knew him well
a son who would pierce her heart
a secret she kept abreast to brood
no 'why's , could she afford
a plan bitter she drank cold
the little steps made her proud
steps that would conqour the world
and he was a carpenter boy
a growing history written in blood
the blood of the lamb of the lord
awaited heavy burden he should hold
and he was a carpenter boy
carving wood a living made
she knew it all well planned
the wood that would pierce her heart.
FOR HE WAS A CARPENTER BOY.

There was a little carpenter boy that built for us hope out of his will and
traded his blood for our tears. I loved the poem.-Elisa

John Devv, I like this very much. It reflects the heart of parents for their child, a human aspect of Jesus' life than many of us can relate to. ~Van

beautiful poem! m.e.

two points. The carpenter boy pitted against the evil plottings of the Greed stricken atheist. Who will survive the final conflict of man and myth?
