Poem Number 10851
I came with a hunger and thirst,
which guided me to my mother's breast,
out of the safety of her womb, i cried
others laughed when i cried

Commentary:
I had written this when I was in school. .. and i still love it... and this starts with these two lines.Welcome to add your own .. mother is a common adoration from where we learn the first letter of pure love..
.. others laughed while i cried... many faces.. i could fathom but one.. which is the lap that is warmer than my mothers lap.... who kept a permanant tear for me....

yes--i can think of no one i love more than my mom!--like the line of your comment "who kept a permanant tear for me"--poem itself seems unfinished--so nice to see unashamed love for your mom--back when i was in high school i took home ec--i like to cook what can i say--anyway we had a sewing segment & we could pick several things to make--well i picked a teddy bear because my mom collects them & i made it for her & surprized her with it--but boy did i get teased in class--but she was more important than the teasing--she cherishes it today as one of the most special of her collection--(she better because it is the first & last she'll ever get that i made because sewing is not my thing!)--anyway your poem reminded me of that because the others laughed because i did that for mom--window watcher
