Poem Number 10828
Your soul a compass set abound in a sea of sensless emotion.
A true north to which you have no direction.
I shall be your navigator, I promise to lift your heart,
No longer adrift, but held high and set apart
A best friend to you I will be
I will be your compass across this never-ending sea.
Arm in arm we will sail through life,
And weather lives storms and strife.
I look for help, wooden ships drift by
The waters swirling around
Heading in no particular direction, no place to go
The destination is unknown--
But known too well.
