Poem Number 10651
Lonely rainy Sunday,
away from the action,
away from a heart
that would understand,
away from a voice
and a smile....warmth of another's
company......but tomorrow's Monday
and I can wear the mask again,
a facade of satisfaction,
among working men.

a dissatisfied cry of one's job?? javanesque

lonely sunday to lonely monday it seems to me... justme
-------
I know this is probably not the intention, but it articulately describes the loneliness of several of my gay friends who are not "out" at work and cannot talk to their co-workers about their personal lives. ~Van
-------
this really shows feeling and emotion. wonderful job of expression, i
love it and was greatly moved. ~ajc
-------
Van =- You're so right. 'Gay' meant 'happy' in English. But suicide rate among gay teenagers is 3 times average, due to social and religious pressures. -= Marty
-------
marty, that's really ironic, you're right. it's also sad.
